About Course

This course equips teachers with the mindset, tools, and strategies to foster 21st-century competencies such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, digital literacy, and global awareness. Educators will explore innovative pedagogies, technology integration, project-based learning, and student-centered approaches to transform classroom practice and empower future-ready learners.

Course Content

Topics: The 4Cs: Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity Frameworks: P21, OECD Learning Compass, UNESCO Future of Education Skills vs. content: Finding the balance Students Will Learn To: Identify and explain key 21st-century competencies Reflect on current teaching practices and areas for innovation Align learning goals with future-ready skills

Unit 2: Student-Centered and Inquiry-Based Approaches
Overview: Explores pedagogies that prioritize student agency, curiosity, and engagement. Topics: Project-based learning (PBL) Design thinking and inquiry models Personalized and competency-based learning Students Will Learn To: Plan inquiry-driven lessons and units Support learner autonomy and voice Foster intrinsic motivation through real-world relevance

Unit 3: Technology Integration and Digital Literacy
Overview: Focuses on leveraging educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
